Lancescope™ Inspections

The Lancescope™ camera system utilizes cutting edge optical technology to allow close-up inspection of virtually any area of a coke battery through the use of specially designed water-cooled lances.

The Lancescope™ can be inserted into flues from the battery top, allowing for inspection of the inner refractory of the flue, horizontal, air ports and nozzles. Refractory repairs at operating temperature can be performed even in the center of the oven using Fosbel’s Ceramic Welding technology in conjunction with the Lancescope™ system.
